It’s Ridiculous Milestone
I’m delighted to say that It’s Ridiculous (feat. Louise Gaffney) has passed over 100,000 streams on Spotify! I released the song on 11 January 2019 as the second single off my album, It Takes A Village.
Luke Sharkey on Nialler9 gave it a great review (thanks Luke!) and said the song was, “downtempo, mellowed out funk at its very finest.“
It’s Ridiculous got a great start out there in the world when Spotify featured it on several official playlists, including the giant New Music Friday UK followed by Monday Spin in Japan, Breath of Fresh Eire here in Ireland, and Fresh Finds The Wave.
Soon after it was on playlists from Thailand to The Netherlands! And it’s currently running on British Airways in-flight entertainment (The Next Big Thing with Ben Noble)!
It’s amazing to have people around the world dig the song. I’m grateful to everyone who playlisted it, shared it, and saved it.
